Wolfgang Sühnholz Scholarship Program

The Austin Soccer Foundation is proud to have distributed over $30,000 in academic scholarships since 2015. Our talented and diverse group of recipients are graduating high school seniors who have made soccer a vital part of their lives. They reflect what makes soccer the beautiful game. In 2020 we launched our first annual Wolfgang Sühnholz Scholarship award.

Nobody has done more than Wolfgang to lay the foundation for making Austin a soccer city. While he enjoyed an illustrious and successful playing career, Wolfgang thrived even more as a coach, giving thousands of young people invaluable guidance on and off the field.
